2024 4-Star Cornerback Terhyon Nichols Commits to Kentucky

The Cats add a third 4-star commit to the 2024 class.

Kentucky football had a successful June on the recruiting trail, as its 2024 class reached double-digit commits.

It lacked some potential star power, however, as only 4-star quarterback Cutter Boley ranked high via recruiting service rankings, leaving the Cats' class far from the top of the SEC or Power 5.

While there's still some work to do, head coach Mark Stoops and his staff had their biggest weekend of the summer to kick off July, first adding 4-star linebacker Elijah Groves on Saturday, and now 4-star cornerback Terhyon Nichols, who pledged on Sunday night:

The No. 268 overall player, No. 28 CB and No. 8 player in Ohio (On3 Consensus) out of Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Nichols took official visits to UK, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Michigan in June before choosing the Cats. He made two previous unofficial visits to Lexington in January and March.

The 5-foot-10, 166-pounder also held offers from the likes of Ohio State and Alabama, but recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow locked down a major recruiting win in Ohio, as he's done for much of his tenure at UK.

Along with Boley and Groves, Nichols adds to a rapidly-growing recruiting class that could see more blue-chip talent commit in the coming weeks, as the summer treks onward.
