4-Star 2024 Forward Amier Ali Includes Kentucky in Top Eight Schools

The forward is a consensus top-70 player in his class.

Recruiting season is truly in full swing. Offers are being passed out left and right as some of the best prospects in the 2024, 2025 class and beyond are congregating amongst the top summer circuits. 

Along with offers comes decisions. One of the best athletes in the 2024 group is inching closer to a decision, he announced on Monday. 4-star forward Amier Ali is currently rated as the No. 38 player and No. 11 small forward in the class, per the On3 Consensus. 

He's considering Kentucky, as well as the following programs:

• Texas
• Arizona State
• Alabama
• Ohio State
• Florida State
• Michigan
• Arkansas

Hailing from Columbus, Ohio but playing for the esteemed IMG Academy down in Bradenton, Fla., Ali stands 6-foot-8, 180 pounds. He's now playing for Houston Hoops on the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged 13.2 points and 4.0 rebounds-per-game across four games at the opening stop in Atlanta. 

The hometown Buckeyes of Ohio State are currently considered one of the top frontrunners, with an official visit scheduled for May 6. He has taken just one OV thus far, heading to Tallahassee to see Florida State back in late February. Per On3's Joe Tipton, a visit to Lexington is in the works "in the near future." UK offered back in April 2022. 

Ali is rated as high as the No. 14 overall player in his class by ESPN.
