4-Star Cornerback Terhyon Nichols Locks in Commitment Date
Decision day is coming for 4-star cornerback Terhyon Nichols.
The 2024 prospect out of Withrow High School in Cincinnati announced his top six schools — Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Pittsburgh — on May 24. On Wednesday, he announced via social media that he will be committing on Sunday, July 2, at 7 p.m. EST.
The No. 268 overall player, No. 28 CB and No. 8 player in Ohio (On3 Consensus) is trending to become the 11th member of Kentucky's 2024 recruiting class, which added 3-star EDGE on Wednesday.
Nichols took official visits to UK, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Michigan in June. He made two previous unofficial visits to Lexington in January and March. Recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow is leading the recruitment for the Wildcats.
The 5-foot-10, 166-pounder would be the second 4-star recruit to pledge to the '24 class, joining blue-chip quarterback Cutter Boley. Given Kentucky's recent history of successful recruiting in Ohio, the Cats are considered the favorites heading into the weekend. Nichols would be the first Ohioan in UK's '24 class.
