You can never have enough help on the offensive line, something Kentucky football is currently realizing as it trudges through spring ball. The Big Blue Wall is a major point of concern for head coach Mark Stoops and his staff — going back to an abysmal 2022 campaign in the trenches.

A pair of in-state offensive lineman — Hayes Johnson and Aba Selm — have already committed to come try and help rebuild the wall as a part of the 2024 class, but UK isn't done trying to add depth.

One name to watch is Kai Greer, a 3-star offensive tackle out of Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw, N.C. The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder is the No. 30 OT and No. 478 in the class, per the On3 Consensus

Kentucky made an offer to Greer back in January and welcomed him for a second unofficial visit to Lexington on April 1. The Wildcats are one of many Power 5 programs to offer, along with Penn State — the early frontrunner — Arkansas, Texas A&M and Arkansas, among others. Virginia Tech, NC State, Florida and Clemson have also received visits.

Another 3-star name to watch is a recent offer — Deryc Plazz. Also standing 6-foot-6, Plazz, who hails from Jacksonville, Fla., is the No. 88 OT and No. 898 player in the class. Coming out of Andrew Jackson High School, he owns a bevy of offers from ACC schools, including NC State, Miami, Wake Forest and Pittsburgh. He currently has a third visit scheduled with the Wolfpack in Raleigh during the summer.
