LSU Forward Kendal Coleman Enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Coleman fell out of the Tigers rotation once SEC play kicked in, initially transferred in from Northwestern State.

LSU forward Kendal Coleman has entered the NCAA Transfer Transfer Portal, as announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Coleman, who transferred to LSU after two seasons with Northwestern State where he averaged 15.4 points, 10.1 points and 1.3 blocks per game as a sophomore while earning First Team honors in the Southland Conference, is now back in the portal.

It’ll be three schools in three years for the versatile, athletic forward who has the chance to make an impact at his next stop. Coleman averaged 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in his lone season in Baton Rouge, falling out of the rotation once SEC play rolled in, but there is certainly upside with the raw prospect.

Coleman joins Justice “Juice Hill” as Tigers to enter the portal thus far.

The 60-day basketball NCAA Transfer Portal window opened on March 13 and will close on May 11.

“We're going to work, but you have to have that balance,” McMahon said. “We're going to have high-energy people. I want players who want to be the best they can be. I want players who are going to be all about winning. We're going to have a lot of fun along the way in doing so.”
