After Miami's run came to an end with the eventual National Champions UConn Huskies beating them in Houston, thoughts immediately shifted towards the future of the roster.

Miami had just seen the last of their talented do-it-all forward Jordan Miller, as well as one of the best scorers in the country in Isaiah Wong.

Fast forward a few months later, first-year transfers Norchad Omier and Nijel Pack are currently testing the draft waters with no definitive answer on their futures.

With other key reserves and promising pieces having departed since that lost in the Final Four, the talk of the past few months has been about the illustrious transfer portal.

While big time names such as Hunter Dickinson and Caleb Love have found new homes, Miami had yet to bring on a transfer until today.

Per release, FSU wing Matthew Cleveland has announced he will be switching to the other side of the rivalry and joining coach Jim Larrañaga down in Coral Gables.

The first thing that comes to mind for the majority of fans will be Cleveland's heroic game-winning buzzer beater in Watsco Center this past season, where the heavily-favorited Canes fell to the Seminoles.

On a brighter note, Miami has got themselves a great talent, and one that should slide right into the role Miller filled these past two seasons.

Cleveland, a former five-star recruit, possesses a similar build to Miller and the same do-it-all skillset.

If Pack and Omier were to return to the team next season, Miami would have themselves a strong core to make yet another run and book their tickets to Phoenix for the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

While it remains to be determined if the fifth stater is currently on the roster for Miami, more additions are still in the future for the Hurricanes.
