Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong Impress in NBA Combine Scrimmages
While four Miami Hurricanes elected to put their names into consideration for the 2023 NBA Draft, Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong are the only two that received invites to the annual NBA Combine in Chicago.
Despite entering this process as projected second round selections, Miller and Wong both put the NBA community on notice yesterday with fantastic showings during the scrimmage portion of the combine.
Both partook in different scrimmages, with Wong playing before Miller. Coming off a season being named ACC Player of The Year and cementing his legacy as a Miami legend, Wong put his scoring abilities on full display.
Wong started for Team Bailey and posted a stat line of 16 points, four assists and three rebounds to lead his team to a victory.
For Miller, he was regarded by On3 as the MVP of the scrimmages, as the All-ACC selection posted 18 points and 10 rebounds on efficient shooting to lead Team Hines to a victory.
Miller, viewed as a "Swiss Army Knife" player, showed his versatility and efficiency during the scrimmage in just under 19 points of action.
In terms of their measurements so far, Wong measured in at 6'2.5" and 178.4 lbs while Miller came in at 6'4.5" and 191.6 lbs.
With the draft still over a month away, Wong and Miller still have time to continue to rise up draft boards as they look to join the likes of Bruce Brown and Lonnie Walker as Canes contributing big in the NBA.
