Q: How did your season go this year?

A: My regular season was pretty good. It's not over yet. I'm not done and still have a lot to prove. I'm really just getting started. I have 2 more years to dominate.

Q: You’re a part of one of the most competitive receiver rooms in the country, what’s it like being in a room like that?

A: It's really amazing. Every day it's competitive and we all work to get better, and being a sophomore learning from the number one player in the country JJ and number one athlete in the country JoJo it's really something not many people get to experience. Our receiver room is full of talent and playmakers everywhere like Kyle Washington my boy is really slept on but he's one of them dogs.

Q: The chemistry you’ve built with quarterback Cedrick Bailey has resulted in big plays for you this year, could you speak to that relationship you have with your quarterback and how playing with Bailey made you better as a wide receiver?

A: Man, me and CJ built a great connection. It took some time every day after practice. We would work together to get that rhythm down and I remember when I first transferred he would send me the playbooks and we would go over the plays. He's a great leader on and off the field.

Q: You were at a couple of Miami games this year, what are your thoughts on the offense after seeing it in person?

A: I really love the offense I see myself fitting in well, they throw the ball which is something that I look at when I go to these games. They are very high energy and the atmosphere was just amazing

Q: What are your thoughts on Miami WR coach Kevin Beard? What’s your relationship like with him?

A: Man me and coach KB have a great connection, he's a real one definitely. He's been there for a while. In 8th grade, he offered my boy Waden Charles and I have known him since I was in 8th (grade).  He offered me when I was in 9th grade to go Toledo when he was there, and I had that connection with him before he went to Miami.

Q: If you had to describe your style of play to someone that hasn’t seen you, how would you describe yourself?

A: I would describe myself as a very physical, unselfish player. I have no problem blocking, I will win 50/50 balls, I have a very quick release game, I’m 6'2 but move like I'm 5'9, I have very quick feet, my arms are long so it's very hard to contest my catches, really an all-around red zone threat as well. I'm very versatile because I can play slot and the outside efficiently, and I can go deep when needed.

Q:. Who are some of the WRs you study and try to learn from?

A: Definitely Stefon Diggs, he’s a great route runner, and Marvin Harrison Jr. That's who I feel like I can compare to.

Q: We’ve seen the Miami WRs have explosive games this year, how much does that factor into your internet in the program?

A: Coach KB is doing a great job teaching and training the wideouts over there and they are getting fed the ball so that really plays a big part.

Q: Do you remember when you got your offer from Miami? What was that moment like?

A: Miami was one of the first few to offer me my freshmen year. It was amazing they were my 3rd offer on 11/15/22 it was actually during my basketball practice. I had to leave in the middle, I was just very excited and happy that day.

Q: What was your first meeting with Mario Cristobal like?

A: It was a great experience. We had sat down and talked with my coaches and it was a great time.

Q: What are some of the things you’re looking for in a school that’s recruiting you?

A: Great connection with my coach, Atmosphere, history with receivers.
