Miami Hurricanes football recruiting is rolling! A fantastic 2023 recruiting class, a 2024 recruiting class that has a shot to finish in the top 10, the 2025 class already possesses three verbal commitments, and even the class of 2026 has commitments to discuss.

Each time a recruit commits to Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes, this article will receive an update. Look for player breakdowns, recruiting notes, and prospect profile information.

Total Commitments: 2

Wide Receiver: 1

Malachi Toney
Malachi Toney / Brian Smith

Malachi Toney, 5-foot-10, 173 pounds, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage

Committed Aug. 23, 2023

Elusive slot receiver with the athleticism, confidence, and determination to also play on the perimeter for American Heritage, as well as one day for The U. Primary attributes include a first-step explosiveness that’s usually being attributed to older recruits, tremendous change of direction skills, and absolutely tremendous hand-eye coordination. More specifically, Toney tracks the football well; catching passes over his shoulder comes naturally. Look for him to be one of South Florida’s top prospects and eventually a top player for Miami.

Defensive End: 1

Jordan Campbell

Jordan Campbell, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Hialeah (Fla.) American

Committed Nov. 21, 2023

Versatility is Jordan Campbell personified. He's an adept pass rusher as a defensive end. Campbell plays linebacker and over the slot as a linebacker. Offensively, Campbell shows dynamic playmaking skills.

The first-step quickness and natural athleticism are consistently present when one watches Campbell's film. As a pure football player, this young man enjoys physical contact as well. That's a prime reason for him being listed as a defensive end at the initial time of his bio. Whenever Miami can find athletes like Campbell who also love contact, playing defense will more often than not be the outcome.

In time, Campbell's skills could grow to a point where he's just as consistent playing linebacker. Time will tell. For now, note that Campbell is one of South Florida's best young rising prospects.
