Miami Lands Top 2026 Recruit Jordan Campbell
The Miami Hurricanes' consistent recruiting approach continues to pay off. Adding to the Canes’ 2026 recruiting class would be Jordan Campbell. The all-around football talent is productive as a defensive end, outside linebacker, and wide receiver.
Watching Campbell’s burst off the snap of the football is arguably the most important trait to take into account; Campbell is twitchy. He’s also a player with open-field speed as a wide receiver. Rare is a situation where a natural pass rusher also has natural hands, but Campbell fits the profile.
At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, It’s fun to consider the different possible positions this young man could play for the Hurricanes. With the consistent need to find pass rushers in each recruiting class, however, Campbell is likely to end up playing on the edge for Miami.
Watching his sophomore film, Campbell’s best attribute is speed. His natural strength also stands out. He bullrushes much larger offensive linemen and manipulates them back to the quarterback before creating a sack.
As Campbell learns more and more pass-rushing moves, he’s going to be a tremendous edge defender. It’s also going to be interesting to see if he’s in a defense that allows him to drop into coverage once in a while. Campbell has the physical tools to be effective in coverage.
Campbell joins fellow 2026 Miami commitments Malachi Toney at wide receiver and Ksani Jiles at cornerback.
