Emory Williams Injury Update From Mario Cristobal
Sometimes college football can be brutal, and that was the case for Miami Hurricanes freshman quarterback Emory WilliamsΒ versus Florida State as he sustained "A significant injury" to his left arm according to Mario Cristobal after the game.
Just a little while ago, Cristobal went to the podium for his weekly press conference. He was immediately asked about Williams and his status. Here's the crux of Cristobal's first statement:
"He's doing great. He'll be full-go for spring practice. And he's a tough guy. He really is. Tough guy that this means a lot to him. He's got the full support of his teammates."
When prompted to discuss Williams' attitude as a follow-up question, Cristobal did not hesitate and provided the following information that all Hurricanes fans should be extremely happy to read in the tweet below:
There will be a long way to go for Williams to recover and eventually, one day take the field for the Canes. It's still good to know that he's recovering well and has the full respect of Cristobal and the Miami players.
