Miami's Kam Kinchens Inks Deal With Dwayne Johnson Founded ZOA Energy
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is arguably the most notable alum the University of Miami has, as the former football player switched gears and has become one of the most successful actors in the world to go along with his long list of other ventures.
Johnson notably funded the University of Miami's football locker room, providing the Hurricanes with a much improved facility to go along with the strides of improvement head coach Mario Cristobal promised to deliver in his arrival last offseason from Oregon.
Now with the surging Name Image and Likeliness (NIL) space in college athletics, Johnson has inked a fellow Hurricane to an exclusive list of endorsed athletes.
Johnson's ZOA Energy is an energy drink company that pushes their "great tasting, cleaner, health-forward energy drinks" to one of the most popular markets in fitness and lifestyle.
Regarding their endorsed collegiate athletes, Miami All-American Kam Kinchens has been announced alongside several other top college athletes to back the product.
Bestowed as "The Rock's Warriors", Kinchens joins fellow college football stars in Georgia's Brock Bowers, Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. and North Carolina's Drake Maye. The list also includes LSU women's basketball star Angel Reese, Northwestern State Demons basketball sensation Hansel Emmanuel, and FAMU softball star Amaya Gainer.
This is Kinchens' most notable NIL since his star season for the Hurricanes this past season, as Kinchens is already part of the LifeWallet Sports group that is backed by John Ruiz.
Kinchens will be aiming to keep his name in the spotlight for the Hurricanes this coming season, as he'll return to the Hurricanes to form one of the top safety duos in the country with teammate James WilliamsΒ and look to be a 2024 NFL Draft selection by the end of the year.
