For the Miami Hurricanes, game week press conferences from Mario Cristobal, Shannon Dawson, and Lance Guidry. Then, the players also spoke with the media right after demolishing Miami of Ohio. In case someone missed those, they were included after the coaching press conferences.
Up next, Guidry discussed what's coming with Texas A&M's offense, including Bobby Petrino now running the offense that quarterback Conner Weigman operated to the tune of five touchdown passes during Week 1.
On the offensive side of the football, Dawson talked about how the Canes took advantage of Miami of Ohio's defensive plan, including true freshman running back Mark Fletcher, Jr. making his mark during his first game as a Hurricane.
Moving to the two leading rushers, Henry Parrish, Jr. and the aforementioned Fletcher, Jr., they went out of their way to give props to the offensive line. Another prime topic was about the talent and depth of the running back room.
All-American safety Kamren Kinchens was all smiles after another excellent performance. He brought up how he found ways to make an impact despite Miami of Ohio not challenging the Canes down the field all that much, and how the "Hard work on Greentree" led to success on the field. Speaking of, he explained how coach Guidry has allowed the Canes "To play fast."
Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke had an honest self-evaluation of himself, as well as the Miami offense, too. That included giving a shout out to true freshman quarterback Emory Williams with how he played. Van Dyke also went out of his way to give props to all four of the running backs, and it was deserved. He certainly was happy to discuss his offensive linemen as well.
Linebacker Wesley Bissainthe was his usual cheerful self, being positive about his teammates and the overall effort. This press conference was another example of why Bissainthe has been so well respected by media and fans.
Finally, linebacker Francisco Mauigoa went into detail about what it's been like to transfer from Washington State to Miami and play with the Canes. He's acclimated well, and that included how he talked about the details of playing against Miami's next opponent, the Texas A&M Aggies.
