After one game, the Miami Hurricanes and Texas A&M Aggies have proven they are both much improved college football teams by knocking off Miami or Ohio and New Mexico during their first games. Miami - Henry Parrish, Jr. had 9 carries for 90 yards and a score; Mark Fletcher, Jr. ran 9 times for 76 yards and a score; Ajay Allen, Jr. used 9 carries for 47 yards, and Don Chaney, Jr. ran the ball 8 times for 38 yards and a score.
Primary Receivers
Texas A&M - It starts with Evan Stewart, arguably the best receiver in the country. He had 8 receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns; Noah Thomas hauled in 6 passes for 74 yards and 3 touchdowns; Ainias Smith had 3 catches for 40 yards; Jahdae Walker brought in 3 receptions for 31 yards; Moose Muhammad III caught 3 passes for 12 yards and a score.
Miami - Colbie Young had 4 receptions for 79 yards and a score; Xavier Restrepo caught 5 passes for 68 yards; Jacolby George snagged 6 receptions for 56 yards. Miami focused on the run game versus Miami of Ohio, but more receivers should be expected – and potentially tight ends as well – to make multiple catches against the Aggies.
