The 2022 college football season may be in its twilight, but there's still plenty of drama brewing in the ACC. Week 12 will see Miami hit the road to take on No. 9 Clemson, in what was once billed as a potential conference title matchup. The Canes have fallen from grace, but bounced back last week with a win over Georgia Tech. Now, they'll see if that momentum travels with them to Clemson, S.C.
The No. 9 Tigers are 9-1 this season, and have been very good, but not exactly dominant. That's a bit of a change for Clemson and it leaves the door open fo Miami, if only just a crack.

The Rundown
The Hurricanes have a little bit of momentum heading into this game. In fact, this may be the best they've felt since Week 2. It's going to take more than a positive attitude to knock off the No. 9 Tigers, though. Miami will have an uphill battle to climb and the Canes will have to do it in one of college football's least forgiving environments; Death Valley.
While Miami has struggled on its own home turf, Clemson has flourished in familiar territory. The Tigers are undefeated at home this year, which gives them an additional advantage in this one. Don't count the Canes out yet, though, as they're 3-0 on the road against ACC teams this year. One team's streak will come to an end, but do the Canes have a shot at keeping theirs alive?
If Miami wants to make it four straight road wins, they'll have to score touchdowns. The Hurricanes finally started doing that last week as freshman Jacurri Brown led the offense on its way to a 35-14 victory over Georgia Tech. If the Canes can put it in the end zone as much or more than that, they should be right in the thick of this game.
