Saturday Update: The weather forecast and the betting odds are updated to reflect Saturday's most current information.

The Miami Hurricanes will play one more home contest and it's against the Louisville Cardinals. It's a chance for the Canes to improve their bowl opportunities, play one more home game for the seniors and their families, and win against a quality opponent that is currently slated to play Florida State in the ACC Championship Game.

There's much to discuss about Miami's current situation with Emory Williams having a broken arm, and head coach Mario Cristobal once again commented about the safety versus the Seminoles that was not properly called. Those points aside, here are the game particulars for the Canes and Cardinals.

Weather Forecast: Saturday update: Cloudy skies this morning will become partly cloudy this afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High near 80F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. In the evening, partly cloudy skies. Low around 65F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Injury News: According to Cristobal, Williams is going to be ready for spring practice. After the way that young man gave all of his effort versus the Seminoles, there’s no doubt that Miami fans will be happy to see him suit up again.

As it relates to other Canes, here’s an overall note. Cristobal is not traditionally forthcoming with injury news, and there’s no reason to expect any specific injury updates with the normal starting cornerbacks of Jaden Davis and Daryl Porter, Jr.

If those two are limited or out of the lineup like they were against Florida State, look for more cornerback reps for Damari Brown and Jadais Richard. Both players had really good performances versus FSU’s talented wide receiver corps.

The other prime concern would be Miami defensive tackle Leonard Taylor III. He came out of the Florida State game and if he misses the Louisville game, or if Taylor is even limited in his performance in any way, that’s a big loss for the Hurricanes.

Safety Kamren Kinchens went out of the FSU contest multiple times but did finish. Hard to imagine the safety not playing against Louisville barring something unforeseen.

For the Cardinals, cornerback Jarvis Brownlee did not participate versus Virginia, and that lessons Louisville’s depth.

Running back Jawhar Jordan might still be nursing a hamstring injury, but he did rush 17 times for 95 yards versus Virginia. He’s been one of college football’s best running backs with 975 yards, a 6.9 average, and 11 touchdowns this season. Another playmaker may not be healthy for Louisville as well.

Wide receiver Jamari Thrash, like Jordan, did play versus Virginia. However, he’s coming off a wrist injury. It’s hard to say what his status might be, but Thrash did have 3 receptions for 22 yards versus the Cavaliers.

SI Sportsbook Betting OddsSaturday Update: The betting line remains the same,  Louisville -1.5 points. The over/under did move down, going from 47.5 on Monday to 45.5 as of Saturday morning, and -111 at that number. There's been another change as well.

The overall money line is the same for both teams at -111. Monday's betting information is below.

Louisville is -1.5 as of Monday morning. The over/under is at 47.5 and -111 either way. The money line has Louisville -125 and Miami +100.
