From a long list of interviews from today's Under Armour Future 50 event, there was one young man that had a cool backstory on how Miami has recruited him. That would be Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines offensive lineman Solomon Thomas.

He's a blunt and down to earth guy. That's fitting considering the 6-foot-4 and 280-pound offensive lineman has been a road grader since entering the lineup for the Vikings.

When asked about schools today, the topic of the Miami Hurricanes came up. This was about as funny a recap of a recruiting story as anyone could have heard all day. Thomas showcased his storytelling skills here. Check it out:

He has several schools recruiting him hard, and mentioned Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina and Miami as the ones showing the most interest. From a rankings standpoint, here's where the Raines star has been placed to date:

Rankings order went national, offensive line, and then state of Florida.

On3: 34, 4, and 8

Rivals: Ranking being updated

247: 35, 3, and 9

ESPN: 35, 6, and 6

Overall, Thomas was one of the most engaging and funny recruits anyone within the recruiting media had the opportunity to interview today. Great young man and a player that will challenge for 5-star status for the class of 2025.
