The Miami Hurricanes put on a passing display versus the Texas A&M Aggies, and that fact probably helped to land Waden Chales. The 2025 wide receiver from Palm Beach (Fla.) Central has been one of the fastest rising recruits from the Sunshine State.

At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Charles could line up at several different wide receiver positions for the Canes. He’s been elusive in the open-field and he has shown the big wingspan that’s desired by college and NFL coaches.

Beyond the Hurricanes, Charles has been offered by the likes of Florida, Florida State, UCF, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M, Michigan, Louisville, West Virginia, Penn State, and several other college football programs.

Charles joined quarterback Luke Nickel within the 2025 Miami recruiting class.
