Joshisa Trader To Miami!
Out of the blue, with no commitment ceremony or anything planned (at least to the knowledge of the media), big-time Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Joshisa Trader has selected the Miami Hurricanes!
Trader was a primary target for Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes coaching staff, and he helps the Canes to continue to build a wide receiver room that can compete on a national level.
Ironically, he has now joined fellow South Florida Express teammate and friend, Chance Robinson, as a Canes wide receiver commitment.
He was the 17th player in the 2024 recruiting class to commit to the Canes. here were Trader's rankings per the four primary recruiting services, in order of national, position, and state:
Rivals
: 13, 2, and 3
On3
: 85, 13, and 12
247
: 44, 3, and 6
ESPN
: 11, 3, and 4
He had planned, as recently as a couple of weeks ago, to visit Miami, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State and Penn State. Getting this random commitment was a major jolt to the 2024 recruiting class and one that came at a position of need.
All Hurricanes will have much more on the Trader situation on Friday morning. For now, Miami fans should be celebrating!
