It's been a busy weekend for the Miami Hurricanes and their recruiting efforts.

Miami had a junior college prospect and Transfer Portal prospects on campus this past weekend. Plus, there's news about talented prep players visiting the Canes.

Here are the players that Alex Donno broke down in his podcast:

Wide receiver Shemar Kirk comes from Reedly (Calif.) Reedly Community College. He's a 6-foot-1 and 190-pound player that Miami likes a lot.

At defensive tackle, there's Tywone Malone from Ole Miss. From the 2021 recruiting class, he was one of the nation's top prospects regardless of position by being ranked the No. 63 player in the 247 Sports composite.

Malone's size at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds would be a major help to a Miami interior defensive line rotation that lacks enough players with the girth to play in short yardage all game long. Malone had 10 tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack and 2 pass breakups this past season. He's also an excellent athlete and a tremendous baseball player, too.

Another defensive lineman the Canes hosted would be Keivie Rose from Louisiana Tech. He recorded 24 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and 2 sacks last fall. He's another big guy at a listed 6-foot-3 and 303 pounds.

At cornerback, the Canes hosted Jadais Richard from Vanderbilt. He recorded six tackles, a tackle for loss, and two pass breakups last season.

There's also former Nebraska running back Ajay Allen that's discussed. He was with the Cornhuskers for one season after coming out of famed West Monroe (La.) High School, the same prep program as Richard. Allen Rushed for 190 yards, averaged 5.8 yards per carry, and scored 2 rushing touchdowns last season.

Keep in mind, the Canes have coaches on staff from the Bayou State like offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. That's very important in the world of recruiting.

At the prep level, wide receivers Ryan Wingo from St. Louis (Mo.) University, Jerrae Hawkins from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, and Jeremiah Smith from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna, all big-time players, were also discussed.

Wingo just visited Miami unnoficially, and there's some good news about Hawkins and Smith in the podcast that's intrguing, too.

Donno has great information and contacts, and All Hurricanes looks forward to more of his content being placed here on the website in the near future.
