Miami Recruiting: 5-Star Predictions
How many 5-star recruits can the Miami Hurricanes sign for the 2024 recruiting class?
While there’s still a long way to go for the Hurricanes to complete their 2024 recruiting class, it was fun to discuss what's going on with the process, and make a few predictions about how some of these big-time recruitments will eventually unfold.
A few of the topics I discuss in the podcast below include timelines for a decision, teams that Miami will be primarily competing with for top-notch recruits, needs at certain positions like defensive line, and the topsy-turvy world of recruiting 5-star prospects for Miami or any other college football program.
Keep in mind, my own opinion of the 5-star rankings was taken into account. That’s why the first player on this list was added although the services have not placed him as a 5-star on their respective lists.
Additionally, this is not necessarily a complete list. Miami will still be going after some prospects that people may not know about, and I really did not delve into all the 5-stars to begin with because they've been in on so many (that's a good thing for the Canes).
I could have certainly talked about cornerback Ellis Robinson IV from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, just as one example. That has been a Georgia versus Miami battle, at least in my eyes, for quite some time.
Before going into the list and placing the podcast at the bottom of the article, the player I feel best about for Miami would be Justin Scott, the defensive tackle listed below.

I also discussed a few more prospects that were intriguing and borderline 5-star prospects as well.
