Miami Hurricanes Look To Keep Their Recruiting Pipeline With Miami Central HS Flowing | Video

Standout recruits from one of the top high school programs in the country have earned the attention from Mario Cristobal and his staff
In this story:

Keeping the top high school players "home" has been the top objective for Miami Hurricanes coaches since the days of Howard Schnellenberger in the early 1980's.

The Hurricanes have had great success, especially in recent years, of pulling in top players from the Miami Central Rockets. Since Mario Cristobal took over as head coach, Miami has landed top Rockets like linebacker Wesley Bissainthe, defensive lineman Rueben Bain, and defensive lineman Armondo Blount

So far, in the 2025 recruiting cycle, the Hurricanes have stepped up their pursuit for Miami Central stars Amari Wallace (4-Star DB), Randy Adirika (4-Star DL) and Floyd Boucard (3-Star DL).

Miami is also interested in 4-Star Central receiver Naeshaun Montgomery. The Hurricanes are in a slight lead for him according to the On3 Sports prediction machine

Wallace and Adirika have both been projected to land at Miami with 247Sports crystal balls. Boucard, who grew up in Canada and just moved to South Florida from Mobile, AL, officially picked up a Miami offer last week during an unofficial visit. Boucard has impressive measurables at 6-3, 315 lbs. He moves very well for his size.

South Florida high school football expert Larry Blustein joined me on my Locked On Canes podcast to share his scouting reports on these Central stars.
