An already talented Miami Central team just got better with three prospects heading from California to South Florida.

Yes, high school prospects will be moving across the country to play during the 2023 season.

T.A. Cunningham has been one of the best players in the class of 2024 since he enrolled in high school. For anyone that saw him walk out onto the field a couple years ago at the Atlanta Under Armour camp, it was eye opening to learn that he was only a freshman at the time.

The talented defensive lineman also has a younger brother in the class of 2027, T.K. Cunningham, that’s garnered Power 5 scholarship offers like big brother before he even entered high school. There’s also one more player coming to play for the Rockets.

Bekkem Kritza, a class of 2025 signal caller that’s already 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, will also be coming along with the Cunningham brothers as well.

T.A. has been a prime target for Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes. He completed an interview with All Hurricanes earlier this spring. Here are a couple of his quotes. First up, talking about why Miami was his top unofficial visit by that time (interview from March 13).

“It’s a lot. First, it’s the football aspect of course. You have two defensive line coaches. (Defensive line) coach Joe (Salave’a). Then there’s Jason Taylor.”

Cunningham also dished on being coached by an all-time great.

“Being able to be coached by a Hall of Fame player (in Taylor), that’s really cool.”

Cunningham also presented an important quote about his first visit to Miami.

“It felt like family.”

The older of the two Cunningham brothers has offers from the likes of Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State and many others.

Cunningham has been down to Miami multiple times, including most recently for the Hurricanes spring game. Now that he’s going to be a Rocket, there will be plenty of opportunities to visit the Canes. Same with T.K. and Kritza.
