  • Mississippi State received four votes in the men's basketball AP Top 25 poll, putting it seventh among eight SEC teams listed as league plays opens this week. 
  • The women's basketball team received three votes. It's fourth among SEC teams, and has to travel to No. 1 South Carolina over the weekend.
