Where Mississippi State Softball Ranks After Week 2
The Mississippi State softball team is off to a stellar 8-1 start to the season after two full weeks.
Five of these victories were decided earlier than expected as the Tiger run-ruled those opponents by either the fifth or sixth innings. In this past week's Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, the Bulldogs tallied wins against then-No. 5/7 Clemson and then-No. 13/16 Utah.
Mississippi State has climbed into the top-25 in both the USA Softball and NFCA Coaches polls. Twelve of the 13 SEC softball programs are in this week's top-25.
