The Mississippi State Bulldogs will play its first road games of the season in College Station against Texas A&M. This is a very important series for Mississippi State, which was ranked as high as 16 this week in the polls; they need to solidify their spot as one of the top teams in the country.

Much has been said about this squad's toughness, and it will be tested as they walk into one of the top environments in the SEC. MSU will need to come out prepared and avoid slow starts.

The key to the weekend for the Bulldogs is whether they can continue to get a lot of production from Aaron Downs and Connor Hujak. Both have been swinging a hot bat, leading to success because they have protected Dakota Jordan and Hunter Hines.
