Did you notice?

• Senior Jack Lundin continued to hold the lead at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas on Monday.  He carded a two-under 70 during the second round played under challenging conditions, putting him at -8 (66-70) for a two-stroke lead.

• Melanie Walker finished 14th at the Westbrook Invitational at eight-under 208 (70-66-72).

• In the first week of National Qualifying Score (NQS) rankings, the gymnastics team was at 197.180, just .015 below the team's best NQS in program history set at the end of the 2022 regular season. NQS factors in a team's top six scores, three of which must be away. The top score is taken away, and the remaining five scores are averaged out. Overall, the team ranking is No. 13.

• Football coach Eli Drinkwitz held his pre-spring practices press conference on Monday and had a pretty straightforward message:

Quote of the day

“There are two players that will be out because of injury. Issac Thompson and Sam Horn will miss the remainder of the spring. Issac is recovering from his injury in the summer. Sam had to have Tommy John surgery.”

- Missouri football coach Eli Drinkwitz on Monday.
