TEXAS A&M AGGIES

Date: August 31

2023 Record: 7-6
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 3-2
Last Meeting: 2001 (Away) - Texas A&M won 24-3

Texas A&M enters the first season under new head coach Mike Elko, who is one of two former Notre Dame assistant coaches who lead teams the Irish will face in 2024. Elko took over a Duke team in 2022 that had gone 10-25 the three previous seasons, but the Blue Devils went 16-9 in his two seasons in charge, earning a bowl bid both seasons.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS HUSKIES

Date: September 7

2023 Record: 7-6
vs. Notre Dame: This will be the first matchup between Notre Dame and NIU

Northern Illinois enters year six under Thomas Hammock, who rushed for 1,000 yards for the Huskies in both the 2000 and 2021 seasons. Hammock rushed for 23 touchdowns in those two seasons. Hammock led NIU to bowl games in two of the last three seasons.

PURDUE BOILERMAKERS

Date: September 14

2023 Record: 4-8
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 59-26-2
Last Meeting: 2021 (Home) - Notre Dame won 27-13

One of Notre Dame's longest rivals, the Boilermakers are back on the schedule for the next five seasons. Ryan Walters enters his second season at Purdue and will be looking to build on the disappointing 4-8 record in year one. Purdue did win two of their last three games.

MIAMI REDHAWKS

Date: September 21

2023 Record: 11-3
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 2-0
Last Meeting: 2017 (Home) - Notre Dame won 52-17

Chuck Martin is the second former Notre Dame coordinator that is set to face the Irish in 2024. Martin had done a solid job in his previous nine seasons at Miami, but the 2023 campaign was his best. Miami went 11-3, won the MAC and earned a third straight bowl bid.

LOUISVILLE CARDINALS

Date: September 28

2023 Record: 10-4
vs. Notre Dame: Tied 2-2
Last Meeting: 2023 (Away) - Louisville won 33-20

Head coach Jeff Brohm did a great job in his first season, leading Louisville to 10+ wins for the first time since 2013. The Cardinals also beat Notre Dame last season, so the Irish will be looking for payback against a Cardinal squad that will have a much different look in 2024.

STANFORD CARDINAL

Date: October 12

2023 Record: 3-9
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 23-14
Last Meeting: 2023 (Away) - Notre Dame 56-23

Stanford enters year two of the Troy Taylor era. Year one didn't go very well, and the rebuild could take some time. Notre Dame got payback against the Cardinal in 2023 and will look to re-establish dominance in the series this season.

GEORGIA TECH YELLOW JACKETS

Date: October 19

2023 Record: 7-6
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 30-6-1
Last Meeting: 2021 (Home) - Notre Dame won 55-0

Head coach Brent Key did a really solid job in season one, leading the Jackets to their first bowl game since 2018. Georgia Tech returns a lot of talent on offense and are a team to watch for in 2024.

NAVY MIDSHIPMEN

Date: October 26

2023 Record: 5-7
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 82-13-1
Last Meeting: 2023 (Ireland) - Notre Dame won 42-3

Navy was a competitive 5-7 in Navy's first season under Brian Newberry, and year two will be another season of change as the Midshipmen look to transition away from the pure triple option that was around for over a decade. Notre Dame has won six straight and 10 of the last 11 games against Navy.

FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES

Date: November 9

2023 Record: 13-1
vs. Notre Dame: Florida State leads 6-5
Last Meeting: 2021 (Away) - Notre Dame won 41-38

Florida State was outstanding in Mike Norvell's fourth season, achieving a perfect 12-0 regular season and then winning the ACC title. Notre Dame has won three straight games against the Seminoles, with the last two home games being 42-26 and 42-13 wins for the Irish, but this will be a much better FSU squad.

VIRGINIA CAVALIERS

Date: November 16

2023 Record: 3-9
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 4-0
Last Meeting: 2021 (Away) - Notre Dame won 28-3

Here

ARMY BLACK KNIGHTS

Date: November 23

2023 Record: 6-6
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 39-8-4
Last Meeting: 2016 (San Antonio) - Notre Dame won 44-6

Notre Dame is undefeated against the Cavaliers, who enters season three of the Tony Elliott era. The Irish and Virginia have played inside Notre Dame Stadium just once, with Notre Dame winning 35-20 back in 2019. Former Irish receiver Chris Tyree transferred to Virginia this offseason.

USC TROJANS

Date: November 30

2023 Record: 8-5
vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame leads 51-38-5
Last Meeting: 2023 (Home) - Notre Dame won 48-20

Notre Dame dominated USC last season in a bit of a payback game. The Trojans enter season three of the Lincoln Riley era, but it will be year one without Caleb Williams. Notre Dame has won five of six against USC and have won their last six home games in this rivalry.
