Notre Dame announced the date and time for the 2024 Blue-Gold Game

Notre Dame has announced the time and date for the 2024 Blue-Gold Game. The game will be played on April 20th at 1:00 PM eastern inside Notre Dame Stadium.

The Blue-Gold Game is the conclusion of the spring period, although the start for the spring practice period has not been announced. The game will be aired on Peacock  for the third straight season.

Last year's Blue-Gold Game was won by the Gold team by a 24-0 score. This year's spring game will be the third under head coach Marcus Freeman.

There will be plenty of story lines for this year's Blue-Gold Game. It will be the first chance for Notre Dame fans to see transfer quarterback Riley Leonard and talented freshman quarterback CJ Carr inside Notre Dame Stadium. Notre Dame also brings in a number of talented transfers, including Kris Mitchell (WR), RJ Oben (DE), Jordan Clark (DB) and Jayden Harrison (KR/WR). Notre Dame is also bringing in 15 early enrollees, including Carr, and Irish fans will get a chance to see what they have to offer.

Notre Dame lost 14 players that started at least five games last season, and we'll get a chance to see the players battling for those starting roles compete this spring as well.

This will also be the first chance for Irish fans to see the new-look offense that is now led by Mike Denbrock, who returns for his second stint as the program's offensive coordinator.
