Notre Dame is just two weeks away from the start of spring practice, and there are plenty of interesting storylines surrounding the Fighting Irish squad. In the latest Irish Breakdown show we had a Buy, Sell or Hold discussion about the Irish heading into the spring, and also took a look ahead to the 2024 season. The questions were from Irish Breakdown premium members.

We broke it down into offensive topics, defensive topics and overall season topics. Check it out!

PART I - Notre Dame Offense

There were a lot of questions about Joe Rudolph, Charles Jagusah and the rest of the offensive line. We also talked plenty about the Notre Dame receivers, including an interesting discussion about talented wide receiver Deion Colzie, and whether or not he is poised for a breakout in 2024. Notre Dame's talented backfield of Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price also was the subject of multiple Buy, Sell, Hold questions.

There weren't as many questions in this portions of the show about Riley Leonard as we expected, but that did come later in the 2024 season portion. We discussed the transition into the Mike Denbrock offense as well, and how quickly could we expect the offense to get rolling.

PART II - Notre Dame Defense

The Notre Dame defense was outstanding in 2023, and some of the Buy, Sell, Hold questions had to do with whether or not the unit would be even better in 2024. For the spring, we spent time discussing the secondary, which will look a lot different in 2024. The linebacker position might have received the most discussion, with several questions about talented young backers like Drayk Bowen, Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Jaylen Sneed and Jaiden Ausberry.

We also discussed the up-and-comers on the defensive line. There were some recruiting questions about the spring mixed in with the defensive segment.

PART III - 2024 Season

The plan was to focus on spring storylines, but there were some very intriguing Bye, Sell, Hold questions about the 2024 season in there as well. Of course, there was discussion about Notre Dame and the College Football Playoff and the chances that Riley Leonard makes a Heisman run.
