One of the top players left on the board for Notre Dame in the 2025 class is Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis cornerback Mark Zackery, and the talented cornerback is getting closer and closer to a decision. Zackery announced he is down to four schools, and Notre Dame made the list.

The Fighting Irish were joined by Michigan, Florida and Cincinnati.

Notre Dame has been recruiting Zackery for well over a year and he's been a top target from the moment the staff started focusing on the 2025 class. That only increased after a dominant junior season in which he was a standout on both sides of the ball.

Zackery has shown significant interest in Notre Dame as well, and he has two more trips planned to South Bend. The 6-0, 165-pound cornerback will be back on campus on March 22nd for yet another unofficial visit. Notre Dame will have a spring practice that day, and it's likely that Zackery will get a chance to see the Irish in action.

Zackery also plans to return to Notre Dame for an official visit the weekend of June 7-9. The talented Indianapolis cornerback has already been on campus at least three times, and the Irish staff will look to close the deal on him over the next few months.

As a junior, Zackery led the Giants to a 13-1 record and a trip to the state championship game. He racked up 39 total tackles, four interceptions and eight pass breakups. He also forced two fumbles and recovered another three, scoring two touchdowns on defense. On offense, Zackery hauled in 53 receptions for 823 yards and eight touchdowns, which was good for a 15.5 yards per reception average.

Zackery is ranked as the nation's No. 62 overall player and No. 7 cornerback by 247Sports. He also ranks as the nation's No. 76 overall player and No. 10 cornerback by On3.

The Ben Davis standout also earned offers from Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Penn State, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Louisville, Purdue, Northwestern, West Virginia, Duke and Vanderbilt.
