Notre Dame Commit Leonard Moore Kicks Things Off On Thursday Night

Previewing the week three matchup between Round Rock and Cedar Creek

On Thursday night, it is a smaller slate of high school games for Notre Dame fans to pay attention to. Star 2024 Round Rock (Texas) High School cornerback Leonard Moore is set for action, the lone Irish commit who is slated to play.

After being limited during Round Rock’s 37-7 opening season loss to Weiss in week one, Moore returned to action last week for the Dragons. The team unfortunately fell in a close battle to Reagan 35-28 but the standout defensive back put together a strong performance.

Regan spent the majority of the game avoiding Moore but he still ended with eight total tackles on the day. Moore also handled kickoff return duties for Round Rock, averaging an impressive 28.5 yards per return during that contest.

Round Rock (0-2) is now set to host Cedar Creek (1-1) on Thursday night at 8 PM eastern time, which will be a big test against a program who is traditionally very good. Cedar Creek is coming off of an embarrassing 41-17 loss to Vandegrift last week. The program has put out several standout recruits over the years, including current Texas defensive lineman Alfred Collins.

Round Rock will be counting on Moore to make some massive plays on Thursday night. Notre Dame fans will have their eyes set to see what the 6-2, 175-pound star cornerback can bring to the table.
