Notre Dame Commits Eyeing Championships Entering Week 14
There’s nothing like some football to celebrate Thanksgiving. On Friday, high school football playoff action is set to continue, with several Notre Dame commits in action.
With championship hopes on the line, those future Notre Dame stars will have to play their best football. Here is each game, including how and when to watch.
RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT
Matchup: Jesuit (10-2) vs Gaither (7-5) (Tampa Bay, Fla.)
Game Time: Friday (11/24) at 7:30 PM ET

Thurman was sidelined due to an injury but Jesuit was able to still put together a dominating 38-7 victory over Northeast to advance to the next round of the playoffs. Jesuit will have Thurman back on Friday when they take on Gaither (7-5) at home. The junior speedster has accounted for 16 total touchdowns thus far this season.
RB DANIEL ANDERSON (2025), BRYANT (Ark.) HIGH SCHOOL
Matchup: Bryant (10-1) at Bentonville (8-3) (Bentonville, Ark.)
Game Time: Friday (11/24) at 7 PM ET

Anderson returned to action last week from a foot injury. His stellar Bryant squad dismantled Rogers 56-32 at home. They will now travel to take on Bentonville (8-3) on the road Friday night.
WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA
Matchup: Palma (8-4) at Alisal (10-2) (Salinas, Calif.)

Saldate’s biggest impact last Friday came on the defensive side of the football. He hauled in what proved to be a pivotal interception while up 21-14 in the third quarter. The Palma offense would score on that drive, which proved to be the deciding touchdown. It was a monumental victory for Palma, upsetting the top seeded Menlo-Atherton squad on the road.
They will now travel to take on Alisal (10-2). One of Alisal’s two losses this season was to Palma in the regular season 42-15.
OL ANTHONIE KNAPP, ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL
Matchup: Roswell (11-1) vs Marist (11-1) (Roswell, Ga.)
Game Time: Friday (11/24) at 7:30 PM ET

Last Friday, they put a thumping on Lanier 59-17, who came into the game with a 9-2 overall record. Led by Knapp, the Hornet offense exploded for 494 yards and eight touchdowns.
Roswell will continue their championship hopes at home against Marist (11-1) on Friday night.
DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD
Matchup: St. Edward (13-1) at Hilliard Bradley (13-1) (Hilliard, Ohio)

Thomas notched seven quarterback hurries and a pass breakup during the team’s 42-7 dominant victory over Medina. St. Edward now has a showdown set for Friday night against Hilliard Bradley (13-1).
LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO
Matchup: St. John Bosco (11-1) at Mater Dei (11-1) (Bellflower, Calif.)
Game Time: Friday (11/24) at 7 PM ET

It was an instant classic between St. John Bosco and Centennial, with the Braves coming out with a 43-42 victory. It was a game dominated by both team’s offenses but it was fitting that St. John Bosco made the biggest play of the night on defense. They made the late two point conversion stop to seal the victory. Viliamu-Asa recorded a season high 18 total tackles during the contest.
St. John Bosco will now travel to take on Mater Dei (11-1) on Friday in a deep rivalry game. The two met during the regular season with St. John Bosco coming away with a decisive 28-0 victory.
CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER
Matchup: Archbishop Moeller (10-4) at Springfield (9-5) (Springfield, Ohio)
Game Time: Friday (11/24) at 7 PM ET

Hobbs got the better of his future teammate Taebron Bennie-Powell during the team’s 22-0 victory over Lakota West. In that dominant defensive performance, there was no better than Hobbs. He recorded three total tackles, four pass breakups and a scoop and score.
The Crusaders will now take on Springfield (9-5), who are led by Ohio State cornerback commit Aaron Scott.
