Star 2026 quarterback Brady Hart sets first visit to Notre Dame

2026 quarterback recruiting has gotten off to a fast start with Notre Dame. They are attracting attention from several big time signal callers in the class, including Cocoa (Fla.) High School star Brady Hart.

Hart, who Notre Dame went down to see during the open period, has scheduled his first visit to South Bend for April 3rd. It’s a trip that he is already really excited for.

"I’m stoked for the visit,” Hart told Irish Breakdown. "It is a place I’ve always wanted to see. I’m just excited to see everything and just soak in the campus and environment.”

A part of what could be an elite group of quarterbacks in the 2026 class, Hart is garnering interest from several big time programs already. When you pop on his film, it is easy to see why. He is tall, accurate and has a very strong arm.

Notre Dame has made quite the early impression on Hart, who lists them as one of his top schools right now. A big reason for that is the impact that Gino Guidugli has had on him already.

"Recruiting has been great overall,” Hart explained. "I’m enjoying the process of getting to know the coaches and schools. Right now, Notre Dame, Penn State, UNC, Miami and LSU are the schools that are recruiting me hard.

"Coach Guidugli and I connect great,” he added. "He would be a coach that I would want to play for. He’s great.”

Hart has put together an impressive offer list. Some of his top offers so far include the Fighting Irish, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, UNC, Purdue, Pitt and Indiana among several others.

The 6-5, 185-pound signal caller was sensational as a sophomore for the Cocoa Tigers. In 15 games, Hart threw for 3,759 yards and 41 touchdowns, while completing 66 percent of his passer. That is a per game average of 250.6 yards per game and just 11 interceptions thrown.
