Notre Dame Offers New Jersey Cornerback Jordan Thomas
Notre Dame has made an impact in Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic recently, including quarterback Steve Angeli in the 2022 recruiting class. They hope to continue that momentum with 2026 cornerback Jordan Thomas, who was offered on Sunday during the Pot of Gold. Thomas is one of only 13 cornerbacks who were offered on St. Patrick’s Day,
Thomas is considered to be a four-star recruit and top 100 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class by both 247Sports and Rivals. The latter has him rated the highest right now, checking in as the No. 77 overall player in the class. 247Sports has him pegged as the No. 95 overall player and No. 14 athlete.
The offer list for Thomas is very impressive. Some of the notable programs who have offered the New Jersey native so far include the Fighting Irish, Michigan, Miami, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee, South Carolina, West Virginia, Michigan State, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Duke, Pittsburgh and Illinois among others.
As a sophomore, Thomas put together a tremendous year for Bergen Catholic. The 6-0, 170-pound defensive back collected 51 total tackles, four interceptions and five pass breakups. Thomas also collected 2.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery. He also had one reception for 65 yards on offense.
