Notre Dame Visit Preview: Irish Hosting Several Intriguing 2025 Recruits Against Central Michigan

Previewing all the recruits visiting Notre Dame for their matchup against Central Michigan

Notre Dame is set to take on Central Michigan at home on Saturday. With optimism at an all time high, there are a lot of expectations for what this Irish squad can accomplish.

Those expectations are shared by several talented recruits who will also be making the trip to South Bend over the weekend. Here is every target expected to make the visit, including a very important 2025 quarterback target, several Irish commits and a string of intriguing 2025 recruits to watch.

BIG TARGET IN ATTENDANCE

Everyone is going to keep their eyes close on 2025 Murrieta (Calif.) Valley quarterback Bear Bachmeier, who the staff is very high on. The 6-2, 205-pound signal caller has separated himself at the top of the quarterback board with Mississippi standout Deuce Knight. The staff loves both players and the thought is that whichever one wants to commit first will be the guy.

This will not be Bachmeier’s first trip to South Bend. He actually visited campus a couple years ago with his older brother Tiger Bachmeier, who is now playing wide receiver for Stanford. This is, however, Bachmeier’s first experience as a recruit himself. Notre Dame has put themselves in a good position coming into this visit, with a chance to separate themselves amongst a long list of impressive suitors.

COMMITS ON CAMPUS

Any chance you can get Notre Dame recruits on campus, it is a good thing. That is not only for help recruiting other players on campus, but also to continue growing their comradery as a class.

As is usual the case, the staff expects a long list of commits to make the trip. Getting them around Bachmeier, although a year older, is a nice touch to make him feel comfortable.
