Ohio State Hoops Target Bronny James Heads East in 2024 NBA Mock Draft; LeBron Lure?

Bronny James remains uncommitted as of now, though the Ohio State Buckeyes are one of his choices. But regardless of where he goes, ESPN is predicting he'll only end up playing one year in college.
In this story:

The Ohio State Buckeyes will need to begin dominating the recruiting trail ASAP if they want to get the program turned around. The team is currently 11-16 and on an eight-game losing streak with four games left in the regular season.

Luckily, OSU is already in the discussion for hype-filled phenom Bronny James, who announced previously that he's cut his commitment list to Ohio State, Oregon or USC.

The son of NBA legend LeBron James remains uncommitted as of now. But regardless of where he goes, ESPN is predicting he'll only end up playing one year in college.

Even with the 2023 NBA Draft still about four months away the site released a way-too-early 2024 mock draft and has James being selected at No. 10 overall by the Orlando Magic.

While the draft order is based on projections for each team, the Magic could realistically be picking in the top 10 once again next summer. And if Orlando can land James, the team would instantly sky-rocket its chances at landing LeBron, who has said many times that he wants to stay in the league long enough to play on the same team as his son.

But before getting too far ahead of ourselves, the Buckeyes will look to do everything they can to land Bronny this offseason, as he could return to the state where his dad created himself into a basketball legend.
