Ohio State vs. Wisconsin: Preview, How to Watch & Betting Odds
The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to host the Wisconsin Badgers for a Big Ten battle at Value City Arena Thursday night.
The Buckeyes (11-10, 3-7) head into the matchup having lost seven of their last eight, which included an 86-70 loss to the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. This marked the largest margin of defeat of the season for Ohio State.
Despite the loss, Buckeyes forward Brice Sensabaugh continued his hot scoring streak, as he posted his 14th-straight double-digit scoring effort behind a 23-point, six-rebound performance.
The Badgers (12-8, 4-6) are in a similar slump, as they've lost six of their last eight after falling 61-51 to the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday. Among Big Ten teams, Wisconsin is currently averaging the second-fewest points per game (65.1) but is also allowing only the fifth-fewest points per contest (63.3) on the defensive end.
Both teams need a win Thursday in what could be a crucial game that makes or breaks what is already slim March Madness hopes for both sides.
