Houston Texans receiver Noah Brown played an instrumental role in his team's 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Brown, a former, four-year member of the Ohio State Buckeyes, compiled 172 yards and seven receptions on eight targets in the win.

Brown's performance over the weekend marked the largest individual performance of his six-season career. In fact, his former record was set last weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Brown hauled in 153 yards.

Before this season, Brown had never compiled more than 100 yards in a single game. The most Brown had tallied in a single game was 91 yards with the Dallas Cowboys on September 18, 2022. In a rare moment of coincidence, that then-career-high was against the Bengals, just like this most recent instance.

Brown committed to Ohio State on September 9, 2013. The Sparta, New Jersey native played for the Buckeyes from 2014 to 2017, including the 2014 Sugar Bowl against the Alabama Crimson Tide (42-35 win) and the 2016 Fiesta Bowl against the Clemson Tigers (31-0 loss).

In total, Brown totaled 33 receptions, seven touchdowns, and 411 yards with the Buckeyes. The Scarlet and Gray wide-out ended his time in college by declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft, where he was selected by the Cowboys with the 239th overall pick.

Brown, quarterback C.J. Stroud (another former Buckeye), and the Houston Texans return home this weekend for a game against the Arizona Cardinals. Live coverage of the game begins Sunday, November 19 at 1 p.m. on CBS.
