Ohio State vs. Youngstown State: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Ohio State Buckeyes return home to Ohio Stadium for a contest with the Youngstown State Penguins on Saturday, September 9.
The Buckeyes and Penguins, both of which enter the game with undefeated records, are scheduled to kick off at noon eastern on Big Ten Network.
Ohio State opened their season on the road on Saturday against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Buckeyes defeated the Hoosiers 23-3 in a shaky performance, coming out on top by ten-points less than experts and odds had projected.
Junior quarterback Kyle McCord started the game for the Buckeyes, and ended the game with 239 yards and an interception while converting 20 of his 33 pass attempts. Sophomore Devin Brown also saw action in both halves of last weekend's contest, but completed only one of his three passes for -2 yards.
Youngstown State also got a win in their first game of the year last weekend, defeating the Valparaiso Beacons 52-10 at Stambaugh Stadium in Youngstown, Ohio.
Senior quarterback Mitch Davidson went 11-of-19 through the air for 130 yards and a touchdown. Senior running back Tyshon King led the way for the Penguins on the ground with 11 carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
Columbus is sure to be packed when in-state foes Ohio State and Youngstown State square off on Saturday, September 9 at Ohio Stadium.
