Michigan Wolverines WR Roman Wilson Takes Veiled Shot at Marvin Harrison Jr., Calls Out 'Not Tough' Ohio State Buckeyes
The Ohio State Buckeyes lost to the Michigan Wolverines in a 30-24 heartbreaker in Ann Arbor on Saturday, effectively ending their College Football Playoff hopes.
With no love lost between the two teams, it is no surprise that emotions were flying high before, during, and following the conclusion of the game.
That was exactly the case with Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson, who called out Ohio State in his post-game interviews, accusing the Buckeyes of being 'not tough' and claiming his rivals didn't want it as much as his team did.
"No... Definitely not," Wilson said "I told the receivers this week: You've got guys (at Ohio State) who put on the Louis V, the thousand-dollar outfit. You want to act hard, but when we're out there, they're not hard. I see the film. You're not tough. And I don't think I'm the toughest guy in the world. But I'm out there. I'm getting physical. I don't think they wanted it like I wanted it."
Part of Wilson's comments were also seemingly a direct shot at Ohio State star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr., who is known for wearing Louis Vuitton during games in the past and has even worn an Apple Watch on the field.
Wilson, of course, played a major role in the win over the Buckeyes, catching three catches for 36 yards, and a critical, albeit controversial, touchdown early in the game.
That touchdown would ultimately prove to be the difference in the game, with the Wolverines taking the win by six.
