Ohio State Buckeyes QB Devin Brown, LB Tommy Eichenberg QUESTIONABLE vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes could miss two of their biggest pieces on Saturday in their Senior Day game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes may be without two important pieces of their team today against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Buckeyes linebacker Tommy Eichenberg and back-up quarterback Devin Brown are listed as "questionable" for Saturday's contest with the Golden Gophers.

Here is the full Ohio State availability report for today's game against Minnesota.

QUESTIONABLE:

Devin Brown - 33

Tommy Eichenberg - 35

OUT:

Kyion Grayes - 7

Mike Hall - 51

Cam Martinez - 3

Jason Moore - 94

Lathan Ransom (season) - 8

Will Smith Jr. - 53

Brown was scheduled to return to action against the Michigan State Spartans last weekend, but reaggravated his ankle injury during team warmups before the game. Ohio State coach Ryan Day told reporters on Tuesday that Eichenberg's status following last Saturday's absence against the Spartans was "week-to-week," leaving him potentially available for this coming Saturday's rivalry contest with the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines.

During that same press conference, Day announced safety Lathan Ransom's injury would cause him to miss the rest of the season. Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles will look to fellow safeties Josh Proctor, Denzel Burke and Sonny Styles to fill the gap left by Ransom against the Golden Gophers, Wolverines and whomever the Buckeyes play in the postseason.

Defensive tackle Mike Hall will be missed by the "Rushmen" (the team nickname given to Ohio State's defensive line). Hall has been key for the Buckeyes in making opposing quarterbacks uncomfortable in the pocket, and shutting down runs between the tackles.

Ohio State's final home game of the season against Minnesota begins at 4 p.m. eastern on Saturday, November 18. Coverage of the game will air nationally on Big Ten Network.
