LOOK: Ohio State Gives Glimpse At Potential All-Gray Uniform

The Ohio State Buckeyes have hinted at the possibility of wearing a lighter all-gray jersey than the "Land of the Wolves" uniform they wore against the Michigan State Spartans.

For the third time in a little over a week, the Ohio State's Twitter account has hinted at the Buckeyes wearing all-gray uniforms next season.

The most recent tweet Monday showed an extreme close-up of what looks to be all-gray glove with the a gray jersey being worn by an anonymous uniform model. The Buckeyes' Twitter has posted the date Nov. 11 — when Ohio State plays Michigan State — the past two posts that have suggested it will wear all-gray uniforms.

Ohio State has worn a gray uniform before with its "Land of the Wolves" debut it wore against Penn State in 2017 in an epic fourth-quarter comeback in which the Buckeyes won 39-38.

However, this alleged new uniform has a significantly lighter shade of gray than what Ohio State sported against the Nittany Lions.

One of the tweets featured a video of Ohio Stadium that faded to black and gray, suggesting a theme for fans to wear a certain color for the game against the Spartans. Conventional wisdom would assume that the athletics department would suggest fans wear all-gray for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The Buckeyes are 25-7 when wearing an alternate uniform since 2009 with four of those losses coming in a bowl game or College Football Playoff.
