'Warrior': Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Signs NIL Deal With The Rock
If you need a boost to get you over the 2 p.m. afternoon slump, Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has got you covered.
Harrison announced on Twitter Wednesday that he's serving as an ambassador for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's ZOA Energy drink. Harrison marks the first bunch of collegiate athletes to represent the brand alongside Georgia tight end Brock Bowers, North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, Miami safety Kam Kinchens, LSU forward Angel Reese, Florida A&M infielder Amaya Gainer and Northwestern State forward Hansel Emmanuel.
"Fueled by ZOA, our inaugural class is comprised of seven of the strongest and most diverse world-class college athletes in the country," ZOA Energy's Instagram post announcing the partnership said. "Each athlete was carefully chosen by our founder The Rock for their optimism, enthusiasm, and commitment to striving for something bigger. We could not be more proud to team up with them as they fuel something bigger in each of their own lives, athletic careers and communities."
Harrison has inked NIL deals with Monarc and Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet in Columbus, while also partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Harrison also hosted a football camp July 12 with running back Miyan Williams, tight end Cade Stover, defensive end Jack Sawyer and cornerback Denzel Burke.
