Ohio State Buckeyes star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is looking to make even more history.

Harrison Jr. was named a finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award Tuesday, given to the top receiver in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Harrison has already made Ohio State history this season, becoming the first player to record back-to-back seasons with 1000-plus receiving yards.

The Philadelphia native finished runner-up for the award last season, when he recorded 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. Depending on if he plays a bowl game, he could break the season-high in receiving yards, as he currently sits at 1,211 and 14 touchdowns.

The only Buckeye to ever win the Biletnikoff Award was Terry Glenn in 1995, when he posted one of the best single seasons in Ohio State history, catching 57 passes for 1,316 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Harrison may not catch Glenn's records but he will still go down as one of the best receivers in Ohio State history.

The junior receiver currently sits at No. 6 in Heisman odds but ranks the top position player in contention. He was also named a semifinalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, given to the top player in college football.

And while this is likely the last season for Harrison Jr. in Columbus, he has not yet announced whether or not he will play in the Buckeyes bowl game later this year.

Harrison joins Washington junior Rome Odunze and LSU junior Malik Nabers as the other finalists for the award. The winner will be announced Dec. 8.
