Michigan Now 'Class Of The Big Ten!' Proclaims Fox Sports' Colin Cowherd

It's not just the SEC in between the Ohio State Buckeyes and a national championship, as the Michigan Wolverines might have something to say about a conference championship. Especially if you believe what Fox Sports 1's Colin Cowherd had to say.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are preparing for another season in anticipation of contending for not just a Big Ten title, but another College Football Playoff appearance. This time around, they'd like to see things end differently than last season when they lost to eventual champion Georgia on a missed field goal in the closing moments of the game.

But it's not just the Georgia Bulldogs in the way of the Buckeyes, as TTUN might have something to say about a conference championship. Especially if you believe what Fox Sports 1's Colin Cowherd had to say recently on his show, The Herd

"Right Now, and this was not the case three or four years ago, it appears Michigan is the class of the Big Ten," Cowherd said to the visiting Joel Klatt, who's a college football analyst for Fox Sports.

"It's not just that they've beaten Ohio State, they have a clear identity. It is now power football. ... You look at who they're bringing back, this is his [coach Jim Harbaugh's] best team," Cowherd continued. And he might be right.

Klatt didn't disagree but gave the Buckeyes a little more credit saying he thought the last two wins for Michigan over Ohio State were upsets. "I don't think Michigan beats that Ohio State team six out of ten times.," Klatt said. "They might beat them three or four out of ten."

Upset or not, for coach Ryan Day to get the Bucks back to the top of the Big Ten mountain, he's going to have to get past TTUN and Harbaugh first. Then Ohio State can set their sights on whatever SEC team they'll face in the CFP.
