Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Kyle McCord revealed how he celebrated last weekend's win against then-No. 9 Notre Dame during media availability on Wednesday.

The junior signal caller told reporters he spent time reviewing footage from the "surreal" victory, focusing especially on the crucial final drive, during which the Buckeyes took the lead with one-second remaining.

"I went back and watched the TV copy of the game and I'm sitting there watching that last drive and my heart's pounding like I don't know what's about to happen," McCord said. "But man, that's about as tough of a win as you can get and I'm just proud that we were able to pull it out and I'm excited to keep building off of it."

Starting on their own 35-yard line with under a minute-and-a-half left in the game trailing 14-10, McCord and the Ohio State offense were able to drive 65 yards down field to paydirt. During the drive, the Buckeyes converted a 3rd-and-19 in the red zone to earn a new set of downs, after which running back Chip Trayanum punched in a one-yard score.

A 19-yard completion from McCord to receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. during that drive played a major role in generating the momentum Ohio State needed to march down the field.

Harrison had gone down earlier in the contest with an ankle injury, but returned to action moments later like nothing happened. McCord complimented Harrison for his ability to put the team first and fight through the pain.

"I think that is a side of Marvin that I don't know if people have seen yet," McCord said. "He could have easily just preserved himself in that moment, but that's not who he is, that's not the type of competitor that he is. For him to come back and still have an impact and obviously make plays right away and then have that huge catch on the at last drive, I think that gives you everything you need to know about Marvin."
