Kickoff for this season's game between the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes and Wisconsin Badgers has officially been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.

The 86th all-time meeting between the Buckeyes and Badgers will air on NBC, making it the third game the Scarlet and Gray have played on either the national network or its streaming affiliate, Peacock, this year.

Ohio State holds a major advantage over their series with Wisconsin, having won 62 of the previous 85 games. Two of the other 17 contests ended as ties while the rest were triumphs for the Badgers.

The Buckeyes are enjoying a nine-game winning streak against the Badgers, dating back to a 33-29 victory on October 29, 2011. Ohio State's largest triumph against Wisconsin over that time came during the 2014 Big Ten Championship game, when the Buckeyes shut out the Badgers 59-0 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Wisconsin last defeated Ohio State the year before that aforementioned streak began (as could have been assumed), besting the Scarlet and Gray 31-18 on October 16, 2010. The last time the Badgers had back-to-back victories against the Buckeyes were October 11, 2003 (17-10) and October 9, 2004 (24-13).

Ohio State, on the other hand, has a series-high streak of 21 wins against Wisconsin spanning two decades. The Buckeyes took care of the Badgers 34-7 back on October 22, 1960, and won every year after that until October 10, 1981, when Wisconsin stopped the trend.
