WATCH: Ryan Day, Jim Knowles Preview Ohio State at Indiana

Day and Knowles meet with the media ahead of Ohio State's opening-weekend matchup in Bloomington, Indiana against the Hoosiers.

Only five days remain until the Ohio State Buckeyes hit the road to kick off their season against the Indiana Hoosiers.

Coaches Ryan Day and Jim Knowles are scheduled to speak to the media Tuesday at noon from inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, to preview Saturday’s game.

Despite there being less than a week before college football’s opening weekend, the Buckeyes still have many questions in need of answering.

The largest conundrum regarding Ohio State is who will start at quarterback: Devin Brown or Kyle McCord?

No doubt Buckeye fans are tired of asking this question, and coaches are tired of being asked this question, but it is important for the future of the offense.

Both choices have their respective pros and cons to getting the job, and Day has said before that he is not opposed to playing both of them against the Hoosiers should they remain deadlocked in his mind.

As far as the remaining positions are concerned, starters are beginning to emerge on both offense and defense.

For example, senior Josh Fryar and freshman Tegra Tshabola seem to have filled the vacant offensive tackle spots, while Carson Hinzman looks to have replaced Luke Wypler at center.

Returning graduate linebackers Steele Chambers and Tommy Eichenberg are set to hold down the defensive backs on the other side of the ball.

Sophomore defensive end Caden Curry has received a lot of praise from Knowles this offseason and is set to see more playing time this year, as well.

Saturday's opening weekend game between the Buckeyes and the Hoosiers kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana.
