Seven Ohio State Buckeyes Ranked in List of Top 100 College Football Players for 2023

Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka and J.T. Tuimoloau lead the pack, with four Buckeyes cracking the list's top 50 spots.
In this story:

Seven members of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team were ranked on On3's list of the top 100 college football players ahead of the 2023 season.

Representing the Buckeyes offense were Marvin Harrison Jr. (3), Emeka Egbuka (22), Miyan Williams (71) and TreVeyon Henderson (72).

J.T. Tuimoloau (26), Tommy Eichenberg (44) and Mike Hall Jr. (76) spoke for the Scarlet and Gray's defense.

Harrison Jr. is On3's best wide receiver for the coming year when it comes to positional rankings, ahead of Texas' Xavier Worthy in second. Egbuka sits third on the list of the best pass catchers.

Harrison and Egbuka are the only Big Ten players on the list, and the next best receiver in the conference (or soon to be in the conference) is USC's Dorian Singer at No. 97 on the overall players' list.

Tuimoloau is slotted as the fifth-best defensive edge in college football this season, while Williams and Henderson place sixth and seventh among running backs.

Each of the seven Buckeyes on the list either made names for themselves or strengthened their reputations in 2022.

Harrison Jr. and Egbuka led their teammates with the most receiving yards last season, with each breaking the four-digit mark by the end of the year. Williams and Henderson topped the list of Ohio State rushers with 825 and 571 yards respectively.

Eichenberg was the overall tackles leader with 120 total and 77 solo through his 13 games of action.

Hall's 4.5 sacks finished tied with Jack Sawyer for best on the squad, with Tuimoloau close behind with 3.5 by season's end.

Both Buckeyes had notable, single-game performances in October. Hall recorded 2.5 sacks against the Spartans during week five in East Lansing, Michigan, while Tuimoloau brought down Penn State's signal caller twice on October 29.
